KIM DE MOLENAER
- Kim De Molenaer ( 1986, Antwerpen, BE ) is een hedendaagse fotograaf gevestigd in België en Griekenland. Zijn werken doen denken aan Sally Mann, Jock Sturges en Bruce Weber. De kunstenaar legt zijn menselijke onderwerpen vast in momenten van kwetsbaarheid, geënsceneerd of geïmproviseerd, en legt de nadruk op de vormen van het menselijk lichaam. De Molenaer toont een artistieke waardering voor het naakte lichaam en gebruikt contrast om schaduw en vorm te accentueren. De kunstenaar studeerde fotografie aan de Karel de Grote Universiteit in Antwerpen. De Molenaer woont en werkt momenteel in Antwerpen, België en Athene, Griekenland.

Kim De Molenaer is a contemporary photographer based out Belgium & Greece. His works are reminiscent of Sally Mann, Jock Sturges, and Bruce Weber. The artist captures his human subjects in moments of vulnerability, either staged or improvised, and places emphasis on the forms of the human body. De Molenaer shows an artistic appreciation for the naked body, using contrast to accentuate shadow and form. The artist studied photography at the Karel de Grote University in Antwerp.
De Molenaer currently lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium and Athens, Greece.
